Can I buy the air tickets on my own?
Yes, you are in charge of booking the player flights, as well as the flights of your family members that also join the program, from Firmament Sports, the only thing we will give you is the arrival time range and another for the departure, as in the airport you will have private bus service that will transfer you to the lodging.

Do I need a passport to travel?
Yes, it’s necessary to have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity in order to travel to Spain. It’s your responsibility to have a valid passport before you join the program.

Do I need a visa to participate in the program?
Holders of E.U, United States or Canada passports do not require a visa for a period of less than 90 days.

Do I need health insurance for traveling?
Every player should have his own health insurance. Also, FIrmament Sports provide a basic health insurance in case the players suffer any injury during their stay.

What day and time should I arrive in Spain?
Your plane should land Saturday between 7AM and 11PM.
*The private bus from the airport will be operational between 8AM and 12 PM
**Firmament Sports will not provide transport outside this timeframe.

What day and time should I leave Spain?
You should leave on Saturday morning hours. We will check out in the lodging between 10AM and 11AM and from there we will transfer to the airport

Can I arrive earlier or leave later than the program dates?
Yes, you can, but in that case Firmament will not deal with neither lodging, transport, etc.

Which airport and terminal do I have to fly to?
In Madrid, airport Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Terminal 1. Those arriving at other terminals will have to take a bus to Terminal 1.
In Barcelona, airport Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Terminal 1. Those arriving at other terminals will have to take a bus to Terminal 1.

What will be the meeting point at the airport?
Both in Barcelona and Madrid, Firmament Sports staff will be waiting just outside the arrivals area of the airport. You will see us at your arrival, as we will have a Roll-up identifier

What will the meeting point be if I arrive earlier, later or with other transport?
In that case, we will meet you directly at the players lodging. We will inform of the address and the players entry time at the lodging in communications prior to the experience.
THE LODGING

Will the players be lodged with their family members?
No, the players will be accommodated at the players lodging while the family members that join the experience will have to find their own lodging.
*However, Firmament Sports will advise and offer discounts on lodgings near the hotel with which we already know and have relation with them.

How does the players lodging work?
Players will be lodged with their teammates and female players will only be lodged with other females. The rooms will be of 4, 6 or 8 players and will be supervised by the staff sleeping on the same floor.

Who will take care of the players while they are at the lodging?
Their accompanierns will be with them 24 hours a day

Who are the accompanying persons?
The chaperones are spanish qualified staff, bilingual, and all of them have passed an official check of police record to be able to work with the players

Do the players eat together with the rest of the team and the chaperone?
Yes, the players will eat together as a team and will be supervised by their chaperone in the players lodging. If the parents want the players to eat somewhere else, they need to notify it to the players chaperone and they (the parents) will be responsible to bring the players back on time for the next activity

What if my child has any food intolerance or allergy?
Firmament Sports will make sure that all alimentary intolerances or allergies will be well cared for. It’s important that you provide to Firmament Sports the allergies or special necessities of the player 15 days before the start of the experience.

When is the best time to spend time with my child during the experience?
Probably, the best time for it is dinner time since both in the morning and in the afternoon the players will have activities with the group. It’s important that the parents respect the
rest of the players, as they will need it to be ready for their training sessions, friendly matches, cultural activities, etc.
*However, in all the Experiences there will be an afternoon when the parents will be able to enjoy time with their children and visit the city as they will have free time.

How is the security at the residence?
The residence has 24 hours a day security with security guards and cameras. In addition, a special key is required to access the rooms.
PAYMENT RULES AND POLICIES

What are the best payment methods once in Spain?
The current currency in Spain is the Euro as Spain is part of the European Community. There are ATMs (automated teller machines) all around Barcelona and most stores and businesses accept American credit cards as a method of payment.
*Anyway, the kids won’t have to spend a lot of money since almost everything is included in the trip.

How does the payment process work to participate in one of our experiences?
To be able to take part in one of our experiences, you must make an obligatory minimum payment to reserve a place. Once the place is reserved, we will offer you the possibility to pay by installments the total amount of the experience

What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Claims for refund made until 90 days before the start of the trip date by a formal email to experience@firmamentsports.com, will be fully refunded minus the reservation fee and the management fee.
However, if the cancellation request it’s received within less than 60 days before the start of the trip date, no refund will be made.

What is the best way to transport football equipment?
Every player will receive football clothing for every day once they arrive in Barcelona, however, we encourage players to bring their own football clothing and sportswear in a carry-on bag to avoid any delay in case any suitcase gets lost.

Does Firmament Sports provide football clothing to players?
Yes, every player will receive his training kit and streetwear kit

When do the players receive their uniforms and travel kit?
Players will receive their uniforms and travel kits once they arrive in Barcelona

What happens if my child loses part of the Firmament Sports equipment?
Firmament Sports disclaims any responsibility if a player loses their clothing. Therefore, we will not provide any additional clothing
*However, extra equipment may be purchased if this should occur.

Will the players clothes be washed?
Every player will have their kits washed at least once a week, either training kits and match kits

Do I need a soccer ball to participate in the program?
No, all the training and game material will be provided by Firmament Sports and their partners. Either way, you will receive a list of “what do I need to bring” prior the start of the experience
