RCDE EXPERIENCE A SAFE TEST

The RCDE Experience organized by Firmament Sports was successfully held during the week of July 21-28.  During these days, the boys of the academy were able to enjoy a complete sports experience advised and organized by this company. Firmament provided them with their staff who accompanied them for every need they had. 

The RCDE Espanyol academy New Jersey landed the night of June 20 at the Prat airport, from where a bus of the RCD Espanyol of Barcelona, with a personal driver, transferred them to what would be their residence during that week: The Hotel Xior residence in Barcelona. 
 

The following morning, the boys visited the Dani Jarque sports complex for the first time, the place where the first team players train. After a talk by club officials, the players trained under the tutelage of the coaches of the Real Club Deportivo Espanyol reserve team. The trainers put them through a series of exercises following the club's methodology, which they also apply in their academies. 

After two intense days of training, on Wednesday 23rd some of the boys did not want to miss the opportunity to visit the RCD Stadium. At around 10:30 in the morning, the doors of one of the best pitches in Europe were opened to them. They were guided around the stadium to visit every one of its secrets. Dressing room, dugouts, trophy cabinet... Many of the players kept smiling and taking pictures all the time. After a very complete visit, the club showed them a video summarizing the history of RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. At the end of the tour, some of them even exclaimed that they were living a dream and that their goal would be to be able to play in that stadium. 

On Thursday of that same week, Firmament Sport had organized a surprise for the players. They traveled by bus to Tarragona to enjoy a full ticket to Port Aventura. One of the most famous and biggest amusement parks in the world. The players took the opportunity to debut Espanyol jerseys that they were able to purchase the day before at the official stores. 

On Friday, the RCDE Espanyol U-10 team from Barcelona Academy New Jersey went to Blanes to play in an international tournament against teams like Olympique de Marseille, Real Betis, or Atletico de Madrid the Futbol INN. Unfortunately, they could not qualify for the group stage and were eliminated on Sunday.

Finally, the following Monday, the company took them to the airport where, with tears in their eyes, some of the boys said they had one of the best weeks of their lives and insisted to their parents that they could stay a little longer. Without a doubt, the RCD Experience was an unforgettable experience for players who, in the future, would not hesitate to return if given the opportunity.
